The Orangery of Château de Saulon
The Orangery of the Château de Saulon is an emblematic and majestic place, nestled in the heart of a green setting. A symbol of elegance and prestige in Europe, the Orangery is a true architectural work of art, similar to a glass slipper, placed on the banks of the Sansfond River. Designed in 2018 by Rinck, it pays homage to the glassmaking know-how of a bygone era, by taking up the architectural codes of the orangeries of the Italian Renaissance, called at the time "limonaia". These structures made it possible for the first time to glaze large openings, offering optimal protection to citrus fruits during the winter.
